David holds M.Sc. in Computer Science, Ph.D. in Business and Management and he currently works as a Director Data Science at DB Schenker. David is responsible for driving innovation by finding and rolling out novel AI solutions in Logistics that brings business value to the company. He empowers a team of talented Data Scientists in their daily work and facilitates cross-functional collaboration with agile working methods.
Having spent more than 13 years working on various Data Science challenges, David gained significant experience about how to deal with customer needs and satisfy them with tailored solutions in various domains, furthermore he specialized in the fields of Recommender Systems and Computer vision.
David is also passionate about academic research, he co-authored several peer-reviewed scientific articles in Computer Science and Quantitative Finance.
